YouBeauty has added media veteran Dan Lagani to its board of directors.

Lagani is the founder and president of TreCani Advisors. He is also a digital media expert, who has helped give many well-known brands an online presence, including Reader’s Digest, Women’s Wear Daily, Better Homes and Gardens and the Conde Nast Bridal Group.

Most recently, he was president of Reader’s Digest Association and he led the company to its first-topline revenue growth in 13-years by doubling online traffic and helping to make the company’s flagship brand the #1 paid digital magazine on Amazon’s Kindle.

Lagani’s appreciation for the power of combining brands and consumer data has also resulted in the introduction of an innovative line of co-branded insurance with Humana.
